Seraphic Singers is a 12-voice professional women's chorus based in Pittsburgh. The goal of the group is to sing a rich variety of the finest secular and sacred music composed and arranged for women's voices. The singers are choral directors, music teachers, pianists, a financial planner and a psychologist - all with a passion for singing great music.

Founder/Director Gretchen Franz is longtime Director of Music/Organist at the Mount Lebanon United Methodist Church.

Seraphic Singers' first concert was held on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at the Mount Lebanon United Methodist Church in Pittsburgh. The concert included performances of Choral Hymns from the Rig-Veda by Gustav Holst, "Alley Cat Love Song" by Paul Carey, an arrangement of "Shenandoah" and works by Duruflé, Irving Fine, Paul Halley, and others.
We were delighted to perform for a packed house of wonderful supporters and music lovers!

Seraphic Singers' second performance on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at 4 PM at the Mount Lebanon United Methodist Church in Pittsburgh included piano, percussion, violin and cello accompaniment, as well as the World Premier of "How do we know the light will come back?" by composer Jocelyn Hagen.

In 2016, the Seraphic Singers also performed as part of the Westminster Presbyterian Church Music and Arts Series on Sunday, September 25, 2016 at 4 PM.

In 2017, the Seraphic Singers hosted their annual concert at the Mount Lebanon United Methodist Church on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at 4 PM.
